Serum Institute to start manufacturing Oxford’s coronavirus vaccine

Serum Institute of India, pharmaceutical company based in Pune has said that they plan to start production of the Covid-19 vaccine developed by experts of Oxford university in next two to three weeks. CEO of Serum Institute of India Adar Poonawalla said they expect the vaccine to be available in the market by September or October, depending on if the trails are successful after the requisite safety and assured efficacy. Poonawalla had earlier said that his company will not patent the vaccine if they discover it and called upon other companies around the globe to come together in this time of crisis to help people suffering from this crisis all around the world.
