Days after reporting the resumption of domestic flights from May 25, Union Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri Saturday said the ministry will attempt to begin some level of international flights also before August this year. “We will attempt to begin a decent level of international flights before August,” he said.
“I can’t confirm the date for restarting international flights. Be that as it may, on the off chance that someone says should it be possible by August or September, my reaction is why not rely upon what is the circumstance,” he included.
The government of India on May 20 announced the resumption of domestic flights in the country in a regulated manner. It’s been two months since the flight operations were suspended in India.
Talking on the equivalent, Puri said there’s no inconsistency between the beginning of flights and the augmentation of the fourth period of the across the nation lockdown. He further added the passengers who have green status on the app Aarogya Setu will not need to be quarantined.No travelers coming from containment zone are permitted to fly.
