UP government has announced that the state will go under lockdown from 10 pm on July 10 to 5 am on July 13. All the markets, shops, offices will remain closed. Only essential services will be operational.
Trains will continue to operate in the state, and bus service will only be available for the people coming into the state via trains or planes.
The state government decided to take this step after the coronavirus cases in the state went up in huge numbers in just a number of days. UP has 30,000+ reported cases of the virus, with Noida reporting the most number of cases.
Doorstep delivery will continue to be operational during these three days of the lockdown.
